Swim Across America

Calling all Swimmers/Divers & Water Polo Players

On August 2nd, Newfield will be once again participating in the Swim Across The Pool fundraiser to support the mission of Swim Across America. We would love all swimmers/divers/water polo players of ALL AGES to come and participate! Parents can come swim!

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. Newfield is joining the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that. We are challenging ourselves by swimming and raising as much money to fight cancer as we can. Please support us by sponsoring our swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Specifically, the proceeds from our event will be donated to Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy in Stamford, CT.

Instead of swim practice that day all ages will come at 10am! This will be a fun morning swimming, diving & breakfast! Please encourage all the older swimmers to come and join and show some Seal Spirit!

***Again, this will be in place of normal swim practice!***

Swimmers can set their own personal goals, have some fun, & fundraise!

There are 2 ways you can participate online. 1) You can register as a participant on the Newfield Team Page for $25. If you select this option, you will then also get a T-shirt and have an opportunity to do any type of fundraising you would like 2) you can just make a donation to the team!

Please note, none of this is required to swim that day but it would be great if we can do our part and fundraise!

Go to JOIN TEAM and your child or you can make their own personal page to email out or go to the DONATE NOW button to make a contribution to this amazing organization…every little bit helps! You can donate any dollar amount but no obligation to participate. If you want to make a donation for a particular swimmer just write the name in the “Donation Name Box”
Also, Swimmers have the opportunity to make their own personal page and do their own fundraising if they would like!
Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
